Increasing financial inclusion in low-income areas

Abler Nordic Fund V is a public-private partnership supporting financial inclusion. The fund provides finance for microfinance institutions providing loans to people as well as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), primarily in low-income areas in sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia.

Improving financial stability and savings

With the investment, the fund will be able to provide even more loans to MSME costumers, who often face challenges in obtaining finance. This will significantly
improve the financial inclusion of unbanked and underbanked people in rural areas. With more costumers given access to loans, Abler Nordic fund will improve
the financial stability of the local areas while increasing household savings and capacity to finance household needs, such as health and education.
