Why it matters
The invasion of Ukraine has caused immense human, infrastructural and economic damage, making investments in critical infrastructure essential to drive Ukraine’s resilience and reconstruction.

Ukraine Facility: Strengthening the private sector during war time
The Danish government has allocated approximately EUR 75 million for 2025–2028 through the Ukraine Facility to help sustain businesses, jobs and economic resilience during the war. Through the facility, Impact Fund Denmark builds partnerships with Danish companies seeking to invest in or expand their activities in Ukraine, supporting commercially viable projects that strengthen the Ukrainian private sector.
As a result, the facility is expected to catalyse significant new private sector investments in Ukraine in the coming years.
Building resilience through public infrastructure
Alongside private‑sector investments, Impact Fund Denmark finances large‑scale green infrastructure projects in Ukraine through loans and grants to the Ukrainian government.
