Impact Fund Denmark recognised as global Practice Leader by BlueMark

Impact Fund Denmark has been recognised as a Practice Leader by BlueMark for the second consecutive year following an independent verification of the fund’s work to manage, measure and document impact.

This recognition means that Impact Fund Denmark maintains its position among the world’s leading impact investors in integrating impact throughout the investment process.

BlueMark is an independent firm that assesses how investors approach impact – from strategy and investment decisions to active ownership, monitoring and exit. In the verification, Impact Fund Denmark achieved an “Advanced” rating – the highest possible – in seven out of eight categories. This places the fund in the top quartile of BlueMark’s global verifications, meaning that Impact Fund Denmark remains on BlueMark’s Practice Leaderboard.

A systematic approach to impact

For Impact Fund Denmark, the recognition is important as it confirms the fund’s systematic approach to measuring impact alongside financial performance.

Impact investing is about generating sustainable outcomes while delivering competitive returns. The two can go hand in hand. However, this requires that impact is managed with the same rigour as financial performance. This means setting clear impact targets, assessing both positive and negative effects, monitoring progress and being willing to continuously improve.
