Meet us at Folkemødet!
From 12-14 June, IFU’s CEO Lars Bo Bertram, Deputy CEO Søren Peter Andreasen, and Senior Vice President for Communication and Marketing Charlotte Holst Frahm will be attending this year’s Folkemødet – an annual democracy festival in the island of Bornholm, where politicians, businesses, organisations and citizens gather to debate current issues. We will discuss Denmark’s development finance and impact investments in an unstable world:
- The Danish SDG Investment Funds: Can your pension savings both secure your retirement and benefit the Global South? Discover how pension funds can contribute to a greener, fairer future and economic growth. F&P stage, Thursday, 15:30-16:00.
- A world in turmoil: Why should Denmark invest in Africa? Discover why investments in Africa benefit not just the continent but all of Europe. Sustainable Development Goals Stage, Thursday, 11:00-11:45.
- Can your pension savings provide both ‘guld og grønne skove’? Hear how we can balance the pursuit of responsible returns with the need for innovation, ethics, and sustainability – possibly even defense. Trade Union Stage, Friday, 12:00-12:40.
- From ESG to impact. Discover how the journey from ESG principles to impact investing can drive greater value and change. Finance Denmark, Saturday, 16:00-16:45.
